GML’s story began in October 1988, when David Gibbs founded the firm after serving as a partner at a leading Auckland law practice. His vision was simple: to build a legal practice grounded in trust, personalised service, and long-term relationships.

Much like our local community, the landscape around us has evolved. What was once a quiet cul-de-sac on Aviemore Drive has grown into a key link between Botany, Pakuranga, Bucklands and Eastern Beaches, and Howick. Through it all, our commitment to serving our clients with integrity and care has remained constant.

Many of the clients who first walked through our doors over 35 years ago are still with us today. We see that loyalty as a reflection of the personal approach David established — one that has been carried forward with equal dedication by Valerie, Carol, Sam, and the entire team.
